Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Tow Truck Driver to join our team.
As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently towing and transporting vehicles to designated locations, as well as roadise assistance for tire change, battery jump-offs and lockouts.
This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Drive tow truck to designated locations to pick up and transport vehicles
- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using proper equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists and ensuring their safety
- Perform basic automotive repair tasks, such as changing tires or jump-starting vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of all services provided and complete necessary paperwork
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the tow truck
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Experience:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must have clean motor vehcile record for insurance purposes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic automotive repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
-Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test
- Must live in Baldwin County and be able to be scheduled on call
