REPORTS TO: Lead Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst SUPERVISES: None DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs analysis, design, development, and testing activities in support of enterprise reporting, business intelligence, and data analytics solutions.
* Assists with the design, development, and deployment of data analytic tools to support long-term information delivery and data visualization needs.
* Assists in creating and owning business intelligence-related queries and calculations in support of enterprise-wide reporting and analytics.
* Assists in the development and maintenance of analytic methodology documentation.
* Responds to recurring and ad hoc requests from clients by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data, and communicating the relevant results.
* Works with sensitive/personal data and maintains confidentiality and security.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE: * Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics or related technical field.
Two (2) years’ similar work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
* One (1) to three (3) years demonstrated experience with reporting, business intelligence, data management, and data analytics using market-leading tools, including standard and ad-hoc reporting, dashboards and visualization tools with enterprise data.
* Requires solid understanding of company business systems and data along with the visualization of information usage to leverage operational improvements and cost reductions.
* Experience with RDMS, TSQL & PL/SQL.
* Experience designing and building extract, transformation, and load (ETL) processes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience writing procedures.
* Knowledge and experience with business intelligence / data warehousing implementation methodologies and architectures.
* Experience working collaboratively with business users and senior-level management users to determine information needs and effective delivery methods.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills, and the ability to balance multiple tasks with high attention to details.
* Teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment and independently.
* Ability to quickly learn and apply new processes and technologies.
