General responsibilities include Analysis and Validation of metallic structures for static & fatigue strength.
Ensure safe operation of the product with respect to structural integrity and operational effectiveness.

Your working environment: The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of Airbus engineers who assist in the design and development of Airbus commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations and services of all product types across the globe.
Your challenges: Be part of the cabin certification stress team.
Defining certification plan for interior Monuments, Liners & Seats.
Perform sizing and support design activities related to Interiors.
Review & approve Finite Element Models.
Monitor, support and provide guidance to interior suppliers to ensure a quality product and to support documentation to be produced.
Review and approve structural substantiation reports from interior suppliers in support of the development and certification of new cabin monuments and seats.
Support the development, execution and revision of test data for material allowable and sub-component structural testing.
Work in a dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment.
Your boarding pass: Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Civil Engineering and around 2 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry.
Knowledge of aircraft interiors and seats certification requirements; You have experience with certification test for both Seats & Monuments; You have good knowledge and understanding of FEM and FEA; Knowledge of MS Patran/Nastran and CATIA V5 is an asset; You are a person with initiative, good planning and communication skills, strong sense of responsibility, capable of working in a multidisciplinary team under high pressure and have good judgment.
Experience in using Google Suite is an asset.
