Our Founder Emilie Toups started Toups and Co Organics in 2016 out of a personal desire to approach skincare from more of a holistic perspective and less of a clinical one.
Having used all sorts of products to help her daughters chronic eczema, Emilie was blown away by the effects she eventually experienced after ditching the harsh chemicals and petroleum products and replacing them with simple + natural ingredients.
Emilie's journey inspired her to start Toups and Co Organics (with an initial $250 order for ingredients + supplies) to help others experience the benefits of using clean products.
Although Toups and Co has grown exponentially since our launch in 2016 (an average of 175% year over year), our team still exemplifies the same level of _passion_ and _scrappiness _that allowed Emilie to succeed back when she was making products in her kitchen, labeling them in her living room and shipping packages in her bedroom.
These qualities and more have enabled us to launch several new products and curate an entire line of skincare products over the years which has gathered quite a loyal following.
*Social media coordinator* Primary duties: A social media coordinator ensures that the operations of a social media campaign are running smoothly.
They work to plan, create, implement and monitor a brand's social media presence.
It's their goal to improve brand awareness and reputation while engaging with online followers.
By creating an active social media presence, they can boost sales and brand recognition through Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
Create and design various marketing materials for digital media (email marketing campaigns, web assets, digital ads, and social media).
Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on-schedule.
Collaborate and work together with the Marketing Managers (and occasionally with different departments in the company based on their marketing needs).
Work on multiple projects at once and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design direction and specifications.
Perform photo-retouching and/or photo-manipulation.
Use graphic design software and work with a wide range of media.
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand *Customer Service* * Proficient in Shopify and Gorgias platforms or willing to learn before starting.
* Excellent typing skills *43 to 80 wpm* * Excellent grammar skills * Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
* Available to work from 8:00 – 4 pm Monday - Friday.
* Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
* Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing paperwork.
* Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary and reasonable.
