VIVA HEALTH, ranked one of the nation's Best Places to Work by Modern Healthcare, is seeking a Market Support Representative to join our team! This is an on-site position located at the VIVA HEALTH Café in Mobile, AL.
The Market Support Representative, Mobile will support department management and sales agents with sales and retention efforts.
This position will help to coordinate traffic flow within the retail store, and will coordinate walk-in traffic, group meetings, and phone enrollments.
This position will provide sales support and service to VIVA Medicare employees and members.
This position will help to generate new members and retain current VIVA Medicare members via corporate marketing activities through advertising and events.
This position is required to perform all job functions within the framework of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) marketing guidelines.
This position will travel to locations within the VIVA Health service area through a reliable means of transportation insured in accordance with Company policy.

REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience
1 year experience in Public Relations, Marketing, or Health Insurance
Valid driver's license in good standing
Current State of Alabama Department of Insurance Producer License or eligible for licensing in AL within 90 days of employment
May require significant face-to-face member contact, with duties regularly performed away from the principal place of business
Willing to submit to vaccine testing and screening
Excellent oral communication and presentation skills; ability to work in a fast paced, high energy environment with minimal supervision; enthusiasm and patience to educate Medicare beneficiaries with clear and accurate information
Ability to assist in coordinating events and Marketing activities within the designated Market
Possess technical skills sufficient to operate a desktop, laptop, and iPad in the retail store and from the field
Ability to self-educate and maintain a thorough knowledge of Medicare marketing requirements of the Health Plan, the State Department of Public Health, the State Department of Insurance, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
Interpersonal skills in activities such as: presentations, staff training, problem solving, networking, and strategic planning
Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure sales events are properly scheduled and staffed, correct information and materials are provided to Medicare-eligible individuals, and proper feedback is consistently supplied to management
Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and work effectively in a variety of settings
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
PREFERRED:
3 years’ experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Health Insurance, or with the elderly population
