Ryerson has an opportunity for a Customer Engagement Specialist position.
As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring orders are correctly processed with minimal assistance, develop steady customer base, and make some in-person sales calls.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Plans territory/account approach and manages own resources
Assists in training new team members
Assists in creating account development plans
Performs inventory management for customer specific material
Communicates with operations team and may serve as a production meeting representative
Occasional face-to-face customer interaction and moderate authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
2-3 years prior sales or metal industry experience preferred
Solid understanding of product offerings, ERP system and markets served
Minimal travel required.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected with advance notice.
General understanding of metal processes and products
Experience Required: 1 - 3 Years
Education Required: Bachelors Degree Preferred
