Yard Truck Driver

*Reports to: Yard Supervisor* *Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt* *Job Summary: *This spot truck driver position supports the shipping operations in the transportation coordination of plant material and racks.
*Job Responsibilities:* * Safely and efficiently move trailers through and around the nursery.
* Perform pre and post trip equipment checks on tractors and report if maintenance is needed.
* Mandatory weekend shifts as necessary.
* May assist with other duties as needed.
*Qualifications:* * Prior experience in similar position or OTR driving is preferred.
* CDL A license is required.
* Good communication skills.
* Must be able to occasionally lift/pull up to 50 pounds.
*Work Environment:* Outside – exposed to very cold and very hot temperatures at times.
Exposure to dusty and windy conditions.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
