*Job Description* Currently seeking candidates for an Elementary/Middle School Teacher.
This position is responsible for helping students achieve academic success and supporting our mission, vision and values.
This position is unique in that it is private teacher position.
You will be responsible for facilitating the homeschool curriculum along with various nature study and outdoor activities.
Our schooling philosophy is that children need time to learn and explore and being in a desk all day inhibits creativity and learning.
We feel strongly about bringing joy and wonder into our children’s lives.

” *Professional Qualifications* * A bachelor’s degree *Position Duties* * Employ a variety of teaching methods to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom * Prepare motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect knowledge of the curriculum and student abilities * Update curriculum and materials as needed * Seek to actively know students' strengths and weaknesses and respond promptly with care to parent concerns * Communicate effectively with parents * Maintain an accurate and organized system for monitoring student grades and records * Prepares well-though-out and thorough parent-teacher conference reports and written documentation on student progress * Demonstrates strong classroom management skills * Demonstrates a willingness to learn, grow and improve as a teacher * Continues to update knowledge of content area(s) taught * Engages in goal setting and review process * Attends and participates appropriately in full, divisional, and department/team faculty meetings * Maintains a positive attitude and approach * Performs other duties as assigned Work Remotely * No Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: From $45,000.
