Responsibilities:
The Department of Surgery at the University of South Alabama is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Surgeon who has completed a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level to join the faculty as a Trauma/Acute Care/Critical Care Surgeon in Mobile, Alabama.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in academic surgery in the areas of patient care and medical education.
Applicants should be board eligible or boarded by the American Board of Surgery.
Teaching general surgery residents, medical students, and advanced practitioners is an integral part of the program.
