Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a high school diploma (2 year associate degree preferred).
Have experience working with school-aged students, preferably those with special needs.
Candidates must be team players, strong communicators, and be able to provide academic and behavioral supports.
The successful candidate must be physically able to complete the demands of restraint training.
CPR, First Aid, MAT and restraint training.
The candidate must be able to complete an extensive background check and pass a paraprofessional exam.
