Job Title: Chemical Project Manager III
Department: Chemical
Reports to: Chemical Business Manager
Status: Exempt
Purpose: The Chemical Project Manager III works directly for the Chemical Business Manager to obtain company safety, quality, and financial goals.
Essential Functions: • Align with Chemical Business Manager to ensure unity in direction, decisions, and support of all activities by being accountable to standards set by the company.
• Align with Chemical Manager to assist with the following systems: o Equipment care and resourcing o Management of cost control opportunities for consumables, materials, and accessories o Support growth and development opportunities for all operating personnel • Support a high level of accountability concerning adherence to all company policies.
• Provide strong field leadership presence for junior personnel.
• Work with Chemical Business Manager to execute operating plans for business unit.
• Utilize company vision, principles, budget, and operating plan to align with all team members.
• Interface with customers regularly to ensure quality and develop strong relationships.
• Work with the administration to ensure work tickets are billed on time and expedite resolution with assistance from Chemical Business Manager.
• Work with team members to rig up work projects, execute operating plans on work sites and mobilize equipment as needed.
• Support company work schedule to ensure work activity is supported with appropriate labor resources and experience.
• Demonstrate an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies procedures (e.
g.
, safety glasses, earplugs, chemical protective suits, face shields, etc.
) to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment.
• Attends all safety and health training, as required.
• Travels as required.

• Ability to make substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Ability to kneel, crouch, crawl, reach and stand for sustained periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively when needed.
• Ability to move about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
• Ability to see within normal range with or without corrective lenses.
Specific Licenses: Valid State-issued Driver’s License required.
Experience/Education: High school graduate or GED.
BS Engineering or Chemistry preferred.
Minimum of ten years prior supervisory experience preferred.
Must be able to pass a DOT drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check.
The expected working hours for this position are approximately 50 hours per week.
Work conditions: Industrial setting, outside environment, exposure to extreme temperatures and elements possible; exposure to hazardous chemicals possible; extended periods of standing; and climbing.
