You will be the leading Infrastructure Architecture consultant and roadmap across the IT North America directorate.
This scope includes all Technological layers enabling Application and Business services delivery like Hosting, Cloud, Network Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management, Extended Enterprise (Usage of the Information System by Remote Suppliers or Partners) as well as Digital Workplaces solutions and transversal platforms like Integration middlewares, collaboration/content management or SDLC/SecDevOps.

Your challenges: Leads the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy and technical debt, and recommends solutions for improvement.
In addition, leads analysis of technology industry and market trends to identify their potential impact on the enterprise as well as technology architecture.
Produce and update IT strategic roadmaps for your domains based on business domains roadmaps, market trends and Airbus IT strategy.
eg: Multi-Cloud Strategy, Datacenter consolidation, Hyperconvergence, DevSecOps, Containerization, Network, Cyber Security, Identity and Access Management… Provide recommendations regarding IT master plan, core investments and identify key missing platforms or competences/profiles.
Produce transition and migration strategies toward the future-state in order to converge, simplify, modernize and improve the Information System.
Lead Architecture design of strategic/critical Infrastructure, Technological or Cyber Security projects/programs.
Support the Airbus Architecture Framework (Standards, design patterns, design guidelines, knowledge base) and to the Architecture boards.
Your boarding pass: Master's degree in information technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required 10 years of experience in Information Management (IM), required 8 years of Infrastructure experience working across multiple platforms and technologies with ability to design and implement scalable cost-effective solutions, required 3 years experience in Infrastructure architecture.
Must demonstrate experience designing an environment from ground up including implementing Server, VMs, Network and Security standard methodologies.
Proven CyberSecurity and compliance challenges experience.
Experience integrating sophisticated application ecosystems.
