Springhill Medical Center is a full service hospital serving southwest Alabama.
Our surgical services include outpatient, inpatient, open-heart and robotic surgery.
The hospital is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment, meaning doctors have advanced technology to help them quickly determine a patient's health problem.
Springhill's unique heart center offers state-of-the-art services all under one roof.
The campus is also home to primary care physicians, a senior residence, sleep center, cancer center, orthopaedic surgery center, wound care & hyperbaric center, and an emergency department staffed by all board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Monday - Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm, every 3rd weekend.
Holidays as needed.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
We are a drug free facility.
Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education Requirements:
Validation of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Job Requirements:
One year of Phlebotomy experience required.
Must have the manual dexterity necessary to perform capillary puncture and venipuncture for the collection of specimens, operate instrumentation, perform manual and automated pipetting.
Must possess good verbal communication skills.
Must have the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
