Responsibilities
In this highly specialized position with a strong emphasis on education, you will collaborate with nursing center management and staff along with clinical leadership, Wound Specialists (NWS), vendors and others to effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding the prevention and management of skin and wounds
You will also support central supply serving as the clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinent products and provide oversight for durable medical equipment related to the prevention and management of wounds.
Lead and integrate a fully developed Skin Health and Wound management program.
Use Evidenced Based Guidelines
Qualifications
Prefer someone who possesses an RN license, and will consider an LPN
Must have national accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC)or be committed to completing a Wound Training and national accredited Wound Certification within 1 year of hire (company sponsored)
Must have knowledge of national wound guidelines and wound products
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Point Click Care, and PowerPoint skills are required
