Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients
- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of the body for diagnostic purposes
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to identify any abnormalities or potential medical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive medical information
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients and staff
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques
- Experience with various ultrasound modalities including vascular, general, OB/GYN, and small parts ultrasound.
NO echo experience needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret ultrasound images
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
