Job Title Material Handler Job Description Summary To provide manual handling of goods, products, objects and materials (vehicle loading/unloading, sorting, cleaning, etc.
) in accordance with all safety rules.
To carry out simple operations (physical inventory, packing, etc.
) using handling equipment and machinery (lift table, hand truck, cages, hoists, straps, etc.
) not requiring a driver's permit (pallet truck, etc.
).
Job description Scope of Activities To carry out some or all of the following activities: Load and unload goods and products Load packages and move them to the shipping, storage or production area Store products or goods by validity date and storage conditions Conduct an inventory Identify the characteristics of goods Operate machinery requiring a permit (forklift truck, trailer tugs, gantry cranes, etc.
