The Bridge is seeking a skilled and compassionate *Therapist* to join our team.
As a *Master’s* level Therapist (QSAP 1), you will provide *counseling and therapy services to adolescents* and their families in *Mobile County*.
Our *outpatient* services are designed for adolescents with a *substance use disorder*.
You will play a crucial role in helping our clients stop their substance use and prevent a long-term negative impact on their lives.
*Job Requirements: *
* _*Master’s degree in a clinical area*_ (i.
e.
, psychology, social work, counseling, marriage, and family) *OR* _*other behavioral health areas*_ with requisite coursework equivalent to that of a degree in above
* _*Practicum/internship*_ from an accredited institution recognized by the U.
S.
Dept.
of Education _*OR have six (6) months post-master’s clinical experience*_
* *Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and access to reliable transportation to meet with client*
* Familiarity with health records management systems and the ability to maintain accurate documentation
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
* Strong assessment skills to accurately diagnose mental health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
* Basic *computer skills* such as using e-mails for effective communication, writing, and editing in Microsoft Word or Google Docs, searching for information with Google
*Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions*
* Perform thorough psychosocial and placement assessments to determine appropriate treatment approaches
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
* Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals
* Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate positive change and growth
* Conduct diagnostic interview examination
* Develop and implement service planning
* Provide clinical services in individual, group, and family therapy
* Telework when necessary
* Work with families and clients during non-traditional hours in a variety of settings including offices, schools, jails, client’s homes, or other approved community locations
* Provide case management services
* Ensure the content of client files in full compliance and corresponds with billing records
* Complete all required documentation in the electronic health record
