Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our apartment community.
The Apartment Manager will be responsible for ensuring the overall satisfaction of residents, managing administrative tasks, and maintaining the property in accordance with company standards and Fair Housing regulations.
Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
- Conduct property tours and effectively market available units to prospective residents.
- Administer lease agreements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of resident information, lease agreements, and financial transactions using property management software (Yardi).
- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
- Oversee the upkeep and appearance of the property, including common areas and landscaping.
- Enforce community policies and procedures to maintain a safe and respectful living environment.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, rental rates, and competitive properties in the area.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial reporting as required.
Experience: - Previous experience in property management or related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of administrative processes related to leasing, contracts, and tenant relations.
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is preferred.
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and ability to apply them in daily operations.
- Experience in facilities management is a plus.
- Knowledge of real estate administrative procedures is beneficial.
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable lease terms and vendor contracts.
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to residents.
